Darryl Montreuil’s Summary

For the past two years, I've been living the life of a nomad. All my belongings are shown on my profile picture. But living this life is not as "cool" nowadays as it probably used to be in the sixties. The means for living this life however have increased fantastically with the uprising of the Internet.

It is now possible, with a laptop computer, to live across all borders by focusing on Internet work. But it is not as easy as it sounds. When it comes to paperwork for example, you still have to pretend that you are settled somewhere, where you have a "street address". Even Here on LinkedIn, I have to enter a country, a city and a postal code. Hence I had to use my mom's. But things are slowly improving.

So my idea behind this whole networking experience on LinkedIn, is to build a network that better mirrors my life style. A network where a nomad like me can still be part of any real life activities. A network of people who understand that someone's contribution, even virtual, always remain a real contribution.
